As the years go by, I certainly think so...

He is like mirror image of the Rock in WCW.

His similiar hairstyle in WCW and Rock Bottom finisher.

Yep! Around the time he won his first WCW World Heavyweight Championship his gimmick was a blatant Rock knock-off, from the shades, the fade hairstyle, black slacks and Versace shirts to the catch phrases. "Save the drama fo' yo' mama!" and "Don't hate the playa...hate the game." He even used the latter as an introduction to his music, just as the Rock uses "If ya smellllllllll what the Rock is cookin!" to kick off his theme music.

But Booker is definitely the most successful African American wrestler of all time. He is now a Two-Time Inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame, something that even Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold didn't accomplish. (It's rare to get inducted twice). Booker was also a 5 time WCW Champion, WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Tag Team Champion, TV Champion, etc.

Booker is the rare wrestler that has it all - charisma, athletic moves, and he can play a fan favorite or villain with ease. For me, his best gimmick was the hilarious "King Bookah."

Ummm....there's a guy named The Rock who is African American. His father is ROCKY JOHNSON, who is an AFRICAN AMERICAN Hall of Famer. Booker T is the second most successful black wrestler though, but give The Rock his credit.
