Re: Whoa! Mutual sparring partner of Frazier and Foreman says FRAZIER hit harder
If he had a Frazier-brain transplant he would have been champ.
A "Frazier-brain transplant." Ha!! He would also generate true hatred for Muhammad Ali and dress like a mafia pimp if he had Joe's brain.
I disagree that Tua had better endurance. He fought during the era of 12 rounders and though he had fights where he went the distance or won late, he generally got his butt whooped and his power bailed him out. Frazier worked like a pack animal for three minutes of every round for 15 round fights and fought at a crazy pace for a heavyweight. He fought at the same pace of his idol Henry Armstrong who was a welterweight. Everything else you said may be true about Tua edging Joe in chin, power, etc. But Joe beats him out in heart and endurance. Even though I don't like Tua, he did have good endurance. But not like Frazier who got stronger the longer the fight went. He was the anti-Tyson.
